WHO WE ARE
Our mission
Colour The Future is a non-profit arts and cultural association based in Geneva. We promote peace, disarmament—particularly the abolition of nuclear weapons—and human rights through art, culture, communication, and collective reflection. We create spaces where creativity becomes a tool for dialogue and peace education, organize exhibitions, workshops, and events, support artists, and collaborate with cultural and international institutions to build a world free from nuclear weapons and violence.
Our values
Independent of any political or religious affiliation, the association pursues a public service objective and is based on the following values:
-
Peace education: raising awareness among all generations through exhibitions, competitions, workshops and events for peace and against war and nuclear weapons.
-
Intercultural dialogue: encouraging artistic and cultural cooperation between peoples.
-
Human rights and social justice: defending the dignity of people and the rights of artists and workers in the arts and culture.
Our story
Founded in March 2025 by Enrico Muratore Aprosio (ema) with a group of friends from Geneva, the association is part of the long tradition of Geneva, a city of peace, international humanitarian law and human rights.

From its inception, Colour the Future has entered into a partnership with the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN, Nobel Peace Prize 2017).
2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
To highlight the urgency of universal nuclear disarmament, on October 23, 2025, Colour The Future organized the presentation of the book, song and personal exhibition PROMEMORIA – Sending out an SOS by ema, in collaboration with ICAN and the Institute of Arab and Mediterranean Cultures (ICAM – L'Olivier), on the occasion of the International Disarmament Week 2025 (until November 14, 2025).
In 2026, Colour The Future will organize the group exhibition PROMEMORIA – War, a Thing Never to Be Done – in Geneva, marking the 80th anniversary of UN General Assembly Resolution 1/I on nuclear disarmament and the birth of the first international peace movements. This exhibition will involve children and artists from Geneva to raise awareness about peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons.
